X-Men Origins: Wolverine

I’ve just watched the leaked copy of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The leaked copy is NOT the final version. There are many scenes without CGI, and in others we can see the actors being held by cables and stuff. But it’s still a pretty decent copy! Very watchable.

The film is quite good, however I did expect more of it. I think this is due to the fact I’ve always known that we would finally see Gambit, who is one of my favorites characters, appear in a X-Men movie. All the scenes with Gambit were really cool, it’s a shame that we had few scenes with him, though. I think they should have used him in a better way. Well, probably we’ll see in the next film to come. Who knows? As for Wolverine himself, well, Hugh Jackman does a great job! I simply can’t think of any other actor who could play Wolverine as well as he does. Besides Wolverine and Gambit, the only mutant that had a decent role on the film was Sabretooth. As for the others, they had small roles and yes, they did introduce us to a very young Cyclops and I’m pretty sure I saw an even younger Storm in a specific part of the film. Oh, and we see Professor Xavier as well.

Anyway, X-Men: The Last Stand was much better. I’m still not sure if I would rank Wolverine right after it or behind X-Men 2. For that I would have to watch the latter again.
